Maria Jaquez

Maria Jaquez

I am excited to announce the first Advocate Spotlight of 2023 is Maria Jaquez! Although this is Maria’s first case, you would think that she has been around for years. Maria has been assigned to a 17-year-old girl since December 2021. Maria has shown dedication and commitment and always shows up when her CASA youth needs her. The CASA youth has recently been placed out of town and Maria is still showing her dedication and finding a way to visit her even though she is out of town. Maria has been able to build a supportive and stable relationship with her CASA youth. Maria has communicated with all professionals assigned and attends meetings that are vital for the youth’s success.

Maria has been living up to and exceeding expectations in her role as a CASA and has been advocating for her CASA youth on an exemplary level that is appreciated by all who are involved in the case. Not only has Maria gone above and beyond for her CASA youth, but she has also helped the CASA organization in other areas. In October 2022, Maria offered complimentary services from her lawn sign company, Epic Lawn Creators, for our annual CASA Superhero Run. The signs she provided took the event to a new level and the event team could not be more grateful!

We are so lucky to have Maria as an Advocate and we cannot wait to see the amazing work she will accomplish in the years to come. Thank you, Maria!
